I’m Amelia Cassar. I’ve always had a camera of some sort—whether it was a Polaroid or a disposable I took to summer camp, film & lens were never far. As an undergrad at UCLA, I had the privilege of learning under a renowned wedding photographer, and then honed my skill for 7 years in Durham, NC before moving to beautiful Alameda, CA in 2021. In that time, I’ve captured nearly 50 weddings and hundreds of families. I shoot with a Canon R5, and aim to bring a blend of charisma and creativity to your session. My goals are to help you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, and most importantly, to get your kids to smile and laugh! I’m a mom of two, and understand that family photoshoots can be challenging. Together, we’ll make it a fun, warm celebration of your family’s identity & love for one another.
